Guiddoo World is a one-stop shop for in-destination experiences. With over 4000+ Travel agents, 5000+ excursions and 11 destinations, Guiddoo offers an array of services like Tours and Activities, Dining, Entertainment and Shopping as add-ons to the Indian Outbound travellers and also curates special packages for them. It was established in June 2013 by Vineet, Nidhi, Prashant and Biswajeet in the form of an App only Audio Guiding Product from In5 Dubai, and later pivoted to the current tours and activities model in 2017.

With 50,000+ activities handled and 22000 + customers and a 20X growth in revenue in the last 18 months, Guiddoo is making rapid foray into the Indian travel market. It offers travel partners and Indian international travelers curated In-Destination experiences (Tours & Activities, Dining, Shopping, Entertainment) which are ideally suited for the Indian traveler profile which differ from global products in experience type, culinary habits, prices among others.

At the core, Guiddoo is a Technology driven product with the Team trying to disrupt the travel industry and the In-Destination segment with innovative technology usage like Big Data Decision Making, Smart Product Rating Index and Consumer Behavior mapping using Machine Learning among other.

Vineet Budki

CEO, Founder

Vineet Budki is the CEO & Founder of Guiddoo World. He founded Guiddoo - initially as an audio guide that later pivoted to a Marketplace for Tours and Activities in 2013, along with Nidhi Varma, Prashant Choudhary and Biswajeet Karmakar, with the objective of giving Indian Travellers great In-Destination Experiences – Tours and Activities, Dining, Shopping and Entertainment.

Vineet has a rich experience of 15 years in Technology, Travel and Airline industry and has worked with companies like Rocket Internet, Emirates Airlines, Paytronic Networks and Tata Consultancy Services in the past. He started his first company Butel in the year 2009 - an online comparator for DTH Services, which later became the online arm of Videocon d2h. He completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from NIT Calicut and pursued MBA from IE Business School & Cornell University.

Vineet is well-known in the start-up and travel community and is a great orator. His successful stints include speaking at the Phocuswright Travel innovation Summit - USA, WIT Conference - Singapore, TravelTechMe - Dubai, Travel Tech MENASA - Dubai, SATTE Conference - India, IITT Conference India, Mekong Tourism Forum - Vietnam, Cambodia.
Nidhi Varma


Following a bad travel experience, she came up with the idea of an audio visual travel guide and formalized it with the launch of the Guiddoo App in 2014. A travel enthusiast, Nidhi wanted to offer unique travel-based solutions to fellow travelers so that they can make the most from their International trips, specially to the world famous monuments.

Nidhi has rich experience in the Travel industry and has worked with major Middle Eastern Airlines for over 16 years. Nidhi has completed her graduation from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai. Apart from Travel, Nidhi is a car enthusiast, an avid reader and an adrenaline junkie.

Nidhi has been widely featured across news media channels as a leading woman entrepreneur in India & UAE especially on the CNBC Young Turks programme, Bangalore Times, Times of India, Arabian Business, Wamda and The National.
Prashant Choudhary

CTO, Co-Founder

Prashant Choudhary is the CTO & Co-Founder at Guiddoo World. With a combination of superior technology and entrepreneurial skills, he has developed expertise in building customer centric products and solutions, across diverse industry verticals. He specializes in handling projects globally (Asia Pacific, Russia, Ukraine, Europe and North America) spanning Cloud Management, Monitoring, Remote management, Integration and APIs. Chef, Ansible Orchestration, Business Process Workflow, Enterprise Application Integration. He has previously worked with Ericsson India as Head of its Mobile Development team and is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur.

He has been instrumental in bringing new innovations that have helped the organization achieve exponential growth, since the inception. He has been widely profiled in news as the ‘innovation’ front for the organization. Some of the current projects that he is working on include NLG, Voice Search and AI to better enhance the search and discovery part of experiences for the traveler on the Guiddoo platform.
Biswajeet Karmakar

Sales Director, Founding Member

Biswajeet Karmakar is the Sales Head and Founding Team member at Guiddoo World. His vast experience in Sales and expertise in network expansion, partnership and alliances, and Marketing has helped Guiddoo to register phenomenal growth, in a short span of time. Today Guiddoo has 4000+ Travel agents in its network built by the sales team under Biswajeet. He has been instrumental in building trust and retention the ground agent network and has been spearheading the travel trade outreach program of Guiddoo World.

Biswajeet is an engineer by education and is an Alumni of KJ Somaiya College Of Engineering.

Destination experience aggregator Guiddoo to enter China market

In-destination experience aggregator, Guiddoo World Travels is all set to enter the Chinese market. The Dubai-based B2B aggregator and listed in Singapore, has a strong presence in India already with a travel agent network of 4,000 in over 10 cities. Guiddoo, according to Vineet Budki, CEO & Founder, will be opening an office in Shanghai this week to offer their products and services to Chinese travel agents and DMCs. “We have built strong end to end contracting in lot of destinations. Therefore, we want to look at opportunities at different source markets now, and China is the first one. The China outbound is quite important considering the numbers have already reached 150 million,” he said.

Tours and activities provider Guiddoo raises $800,000 to expand operations and products

Indian in-destination experiences provider Guiddoo has raised $800,000 in pre-Series A funding.Singapore-based Rennie Ratadia, Dubai-based Stephen Dmello and India-based Angshuman Sarkar led the funding round.

With the funds, Guiddoo plans to reach new destinations globally, further develop its technology platform and expand operations and its product portfolio.

It aims to have operations in China by February 2019, as well as plans to build a pan-Indian distribution network for its tours and activities and holiday products.
